Annual Antitrust Enquiries Conference [French]

(April 2018) FTI Consulting sponsored the annual antitrust enquiries conference organised by Concurrences review and Mayer Brown, with the involvement of representatives from the French Competition Authority (Autorité de la Concurrence) and the General Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Antifraud (DGCCRF). Thomas Sely, head of the Paris Forensic Technology practice, had the opportunity to speak at a panel on penalties for obstruction during dawn raids and requests for information. He stressed out the major role electronic data play in competition investigations and how important it is now for companies to take into account these IT aspects when cooperating with investigations and preparing for it.
