FTI Consulting Names Nick Athanasi as Technology Segment Leader in EMEIA
London, 20 September 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that Senior Managing Director Nick Athanasi will lead the firm’s Technology segment in Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (“EMEIA”). In this position, Mr. Athanasi will oversee the Technology segment’s EMEIA multidisciplinary expert teams across the region, driving strategy, expansion and delivery of services and solutions that address clients’ most complex data challenges.
Since early 2021, Mr. Athanasi has served as FTI Technology’s leader in the Middle East, Africa and India, from Dubai. He is a global expert in forensic technology, complex litigation and regulatory investigations, with more than 30 years of experience in technology consulting, e-discovery and forensic investigations. Mr. Athanasi leads teams on many of EMEIA’s largest and most complex litigations and regulatory investigations. He has been instrumental in expanding FTI Technology’s solutions and teams across crucial markets, such as e-discovery, investigations, security and data privacy.

Mr. Athanasi brings significant expertise in the financial services (including OFAC and LIBOR matters), pharmaceutical, transport, energy and technology sectors. He has held leadership and founding roles at numerous consulting firms, including a previous position as a partner and Middle East leader of the forensic technology practice at a Big Four consulting firm. He is currently named a Who’s Who Legal Global Leader in Consulting, Data & Digital Forensics and Investigations.
