Press release

Washington, D.C., Dec. 19, 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that the firm’s Technology segment has appointed Corey Gildart and Brad Hadamik as Managing Directors in the Digital Forensics & Investigations practice, adding to the team’s robust, multidisciplinary capabilities in complex investigations, disputes and analytics.

Mr. Gildart brings more than 15 years of experience extracting critical information and deriving meaningful insights to bolster client claims, defenses and general data awareness in complex litigation and investigations. As a specialist in digital forensics, he leverages customized analytic solutions for anomaly detection, network analysis and document categorization and classification.

Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Gildart spent six years as a director and legal officer for Resolution Economics, LLC, an economic and statistical advisory firm, where he also provided clients with expert testimony and services in support of forensic investigations and labor and employment disputes. He has also worked within Big Four firms and has extensive experience assisting with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, multidistrict litigation and the use of investigative text analytics to understand key facts and evidence in complex matters.

With 17 years of experience in digital forensics, forensic analysis, litigation readiness and consulting, Mr. Hadamik supports clients in global investigations, litigation, audits and other high-risk matters. He has provided written testimony to courts and regulators relating to the forensic analysis of mobile devices and other systems for numerous disputes and investigations. Mr. Hadamik has also led digital forensics and e-discovery for multiple Fortune 100 clients facing regulatory inquiries that transitioned into complex litigations.

Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Hadamik held several forensics and auditor roles within multiple Big Four consulting firms. He has served clients in diverse industry sectors, including energy, mining, government, healthcare, insurance, financial services, real estate and manufacturing.

“We’re seeing a persistent trend of clients needing highly technical digital forensics expertise to respond to regulatory investigations, find evidence in civil disputes and conduct proactive internal investigations,” said David Grant, a Senior Managing Director and E-Discovery Consulting & Services practice leader within FTI Technology. “In our latest edition of The General Counsel Report, half of respondents reported an increase in regulatory investigations, and one-third indicated internal investigations are straining their teams. Together, Corey and Brad bring more than 30 years of experience in digital forensics, e-discovery and analytics to our team, and they will be invaluable in supporting our clients as they face more demand and more data-related challenges.”

FTI Technology’s Digital Forensics & Investigations practice offers a wide range of global services, with teams, labs and data centers in the United States, UK, Australia and Asia. FTI Technology’s experts bring extensive experience in identifying and untangling webs of interdependencies that link people, corporate entities, monetary amounts, business partners and outsiders to the critical events under analysis and have successfully completed hundreds of high-stakes, global investigations.
