Washington, D.C., Aug. 16, 2016 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that the Company’s Technology segment has expanded its Information Governance & Compliance Services (“IG&CS”) practice with the appointments of Chris Zohlen as a Managing Director and Sonia Cheng as a Senior Director. Mr. Zohlen will be based in Los Angeles, and Ms. Cheng will be based in London.
Mr. Zohlen has more than 20 years of experience in software sales, consulting and implementation. He joins FTI Consulting as a senior member of the IG&CS practice, focusing on helping clients develop and implement innovative e-discovery and information governance solutions. Before joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Zohlen was the business unit executive for IBM’s Information Lifecycle Governance business, where he focused on e-discovery, records management and data risk. He helped a top global financial services organization address information lifecycle management cost and risk. He also designed a strategy and solution to remediate IT storage for a Fortune 20 health services provider, helping the client achieve $11 million in operational savings as a result. In addition to IBM, Mr. Zohlen has held leadership positions at PSS Systems and Deloitte Consulting.
Ms. Cheng will provide information governance services and consulting for clients in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) region. With more than 15 years of experience in information governance and compliance, she also joins FTI Consulting from IBM, where she served as a business development executive. Her experience includes strategic client advising, organization and change management, financial analysis, implementation, and rollout for legal, records and compliance-related technology. Ms. Cheng has held leadership roles at PSS Systems and Wells Fargo and is a recognized information governance industry expert and a trusted advisor to the world’s largest global financial services, insurance, energy, automotive and pharmaceutical corporations.
