Dubai, 15 December 2022 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that the firm’s Technology segment has appointed Jorge Carrasco as a Managing Director in Dubai, a hire that supports continued global expansion of the firm’s Blockchain and Digital Assets practice.
Mr. Carrasco brings more than 15 years of experience in emerging technologies and solution development to FTI Consulting’s clients in the Middle East. As a blockchain and Web3 expert, Mr. Carrasco advises clients across numerous industries in developing enterprise blockchain strategies and technical implementations. He has a deep understanding of the goals, challenges and technical nuances corporate and government entities face when approaching advanced technology deployments and helps translate them into innovative solutions that leverage the unique properties of blockchain technology and smart contracts.
With a strong technical background and previous work with a wide range of technologies and industries, Mr. Carrasco’s depth of expertise provides clients with innovative and actionable insights and guidance for complex issues.

Mr. Carrasco has played a key role in some of the leading enterprise blockchain projects in the Middle East. Prior to joining FTI Technology, Mr. Carrasco was Director of Emerging Technologies at e&, formerly Etisalat, where he designed and implemented innovative solutions in fields such as blockchain, robotics, 5G, digital twins and metaverse for enterprise customers in the private and public sector. He has also held senior roles at Fon, Telefonica and Ericsson.

In 2022, FTI Technology also appointed Susana Esteban as a Managing Director in the UK to support growth for the Blockchain and Digital Assets practice across Europe, and Preston Fischer joined the practice as a Managing Director in the United States, focused on data innovation and digital risk management.
