Ringtail’s Excellence in Predictive Coding Stands Out for the Second Year in a Row
Press release

Washington, D.C., Oct. 29, 2014 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that its Ringtail software, developed by the FTI Technology segment, has been recognized as a leader in the Predictive Coding Solutions category of The Legal Intelligencer’s Best of 2014 reader rankings. The Legal Intelligencer is the nation’s oldest daily law journal and most trusted source of Pennsylvania legal news, information and analysis. Its annual reader rankings highlight the region’s top legal products and services, from software to law firms and law schools.

This is the second year in a row that Ringtail has received top marks in the Predictive Coding Solutions category. The repeat honor is a testament to Ringtail’s sustained leadership in providing advanced analytics tools to streamline the time, cost and complexity of the review phase of e-discovery. Ringtail’s predictive coding uses a visual approach that allows legal teams to easily cull non-relevant materials and prioritize important concepts, custodians and documents for review.

“Our clients are at the heart of our business, and it is their candid feedback that helps to shape FTI Technology’s products and services,” said Colleen Casey Voshell, Managing Director in the Technology segment at FTI Consulting. “Ringtail’s predictive coding features were developed based on continuous collaboration with our clients and an understanding of their specific needs related to the various steps in the e-discovery process. We’re honored that the readers of The Legal Intelligencer would recognize Ringtail’s excellence in this way.”

Both FTI Technology and its Ringtail e-discovery software have received numerous honors from the legal and IT industries this year including, The National Law Journal, The Recorder and KMWorld magazine, as leaders within the e-discovery software and services arena. FTI Technology was also included in the ‘Leaders’ quadrant of Gartner’s latest e-Discovery software report (Jie Zhang, Debra Logan, Garth Landers, June 19, 2014).

Methodology
Hundreds of readers from Pennsylvania, including practicing attorneys and others in the legal industry, participated in the 2014 survey to vote in more than 50 categories for the best providers of products and services to the legal community. For each category, winners were ranked purely by number of votes.
