The E-discovery Generative AI Labs

Gain hands-on experience with Generative AI in a practical setting tailored for legal professionals working in disputes and investigations. This interactive session provides a unique opportunity to explore how AI can assist with tasks such as:

  • Extracting data, including personal information and specific data points from documents
  • Classifying documents as relevant, privileged, or other categories
  • Summarising documents for chronologies and schedules
  • Handling complex data formats, including non-English texts, hard copies, audio, and video files

Following a brief introduction to key Generative AI concepts—including both opportunities and risks—participants will engage in a guided "labs experience." With provided laptops, attendees will compare and contrast different Large Language Models (LLMs) while applying AI techniques to real-world legal scenarios. Our data science experts, specialising in disputes and investigations, will also share prompt engineering strategies to maximise AI effectiveness.
